Returns

Did you order an item but have now changed your mind? Not a problem. To exercise your right of cancellation, you need to inform us (TYPE HYPE GmbH & Co. KG, Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße 9-13, 10178 Berlin, e-mail: berlin@typehype.com) by submitting a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, a fax or an e-mail) regarding your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the sample cancellation form provided for this purpose, although this is not compulsory. All direct costs of returning goods must be borne by the buyer.

We will process your return no later than 14 days after the date on which we receive your cancellation notification and return the purchase amount to you. Please note that the return postage costs will not be refunded.

You are, of course, also welcome to return items to our store. Find us at Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße 9-13 in Berlin-Mitte. We are open from Monday - Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Complaints

If you like an item in your order but would prefer a different type, e.g. a different letter as the motif, please send us a short e-mail to berlin@typehype.com.
We will need 1-3 business days for email responses.

Refunds and compensation

As soon as we have received and processed the returned goods, we will refund the purchase amount to you. If you have paid by credit card, we will refund the amount to your credit card account. If you have paid via PayPal, we will transfer the amount to your PayPal account. You can then decide if you want to transfer the money from PayPal to a bank account or use the funds in PayPal to make other payments.
